Die trees, die.

Tue Jun 30, 2009, 11:06 AM
So I've been drawing this random (well not totally random) piece of Legend of Mana fluff, and after wrestling with people in sitting positions (ugh) for hours, I finally come up with something workable. At least, it will be workable when I can move lines around in GIMP. Then I sit back and realize it needs a background and I've set myself up to draw another darn tree.

I hate trees. I never want to see another tree in my life. DIE TREES DIE.

Maybe I can just photoshop one in. Hmm, I use photoshop as a verb now. I don't even HAVE Photoshop.

I'm rambling and stalling. I don't WANT to draw a tree! Grass is right out too. Plants in general. *sob*

Yeah yeah, the drama. :D

EDIT: Is done now. Trees and all. No trees were harmed in the making of this picture. Though I really really wanted to.

Zack Fair: Are you blind? Me, of course!

I put a link to my deviations in my sig because I want people to look at them.
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too! :D

Wassup. How's it going?

I like that DQ8 deviation. :D
I just :+fav:'d it.

Cool Story, Bro.
Thanks! :) Glad you like it!

Hey cool! You're a fan of Terry Pratchett? And Legend of Mana? Neat :)
Also, Naomi Novik's books are on my list... But, we only have them in audiobook form :/
And Lina Inverse == The Most Fantastically Overpowered Heroine in the History of the Universe. Good stuff :laughing:

Yay for sharing of interests! Score. :)

Yep! Terry Pratchett is one of my all time favourite authors. (He's even influenced my spelling. I can't seem to keep that 'U' from slipping in...) I even spend a lot of time on the Discworld MUD now and again.

Naomi Novak is a new love , and Legend of Mana is an obsession from a long time ago, but it's taken up a new prominence lately, what with the fanfiction and the fanart I've been doing...

And I couldn't agree with you more. Lina is my ultimate favourite anime character, despite how many interesting shows I've seen since then. :D Slayers never gets old.

Haha, I find that 'u' slipping in all the time, too. Not sure how much that has to do with Terry Pratchett, though :)

I grew up watching Slayers. I think it has influenced my mind and lifestyle more than many would consider health 8D

OI!

You're not dead, are you? :P :D :heart:

Faith is a shield erected to protect love;
Truth is a sword weilded to defend honor;
Courage is the product of a heart that refuses to give into selfish fear;
Hope is a beacon to all who still have reason to believe.
Ahhhh...no. Not yet. I think. :D

My computer was dead for a while. Then there was stuff...and some other stuff, followed by stuff. End result being a complete death of creativity. ;)

But I'm coming back to life, bit by bit. Should be a new chapter soon (maybe. I hope.)...and I'm actually colouring a thingy I drew of Pearl like...a year ago...

Thanks for asking! :) *feels loved*

I keep hoping to see something new up once you start playing with the i-pen. But noooooooooooo... ::sighs in despair:: and nothing new to read either. What am I going to do? If you check this today...I work 7-11 tomorrow and I could bring you Georgette's books :) and hang out if you want. We could shoot the cat. I mean, the breeze!
